PREVENTATIVE HEALTH CARE FOR YOUR CAT

Care CareBeginning Preventative Care for Kittens

Kittens, like puppies and children, will require some healthcare. This care helps protect not only the kitten, but also the owner.

Kittens may have parasites that can be transmittable to people, especially small children. There are several diseases kittens can acquire, some that are potentially fatal, that can be tested for and vaccinated against. Our staff will evaluate your kitten based on several factors including physical exam, potential exposure, age, and environment, and make appropriate health care recommendations.

Because your kitten's health and well-being will depend on more than vaccinations, we will discuss with you the care of your kitten, behavior issues and answer any questions you might have.

Kitten series visits consist of comprehensive physical exam, intestinal parasite testing and treatment and vaccinations.

Maintaining the Health of Your Adult Cat

In order to maintain your cat’s health, we recommend the following annual preventative healthcare:

  • Internal and External Parasite Testing and Treatment
  • Tailored Vaccination Protocols
  • Diet Recommendations

We are now proud to offer low antigen vaccines for cats to reduce the incidence of injection site sarcomas.

Maintaining the Health of Your Senior Cat

  • Exams twice a year
  • Geriatric profiles
