Ms. Dorothy the chicken came in to see Dr. Slappey at Westmoreland & Slappey Animal Hospital recently.
Dorothy had had a run-in recently and had acquired some wounds under her wing.
Dr. Slappey was able to debride (remove damaged tissue and/or foreign material that may delay or prevent healing) Dorothy. She is now back at home and expected to make a full recovery.
